Activity: Egg Shakers

Theme: Easter Color: Gray

Daily Opener:
1. Prayer {Say a prayer with your child}
2. Calendar {Click on the link to learn how to use the calendar}.
3. ABC / 123 Song {Sing the ABC’s with your child & sing numbers 1-10 with your child}.
Description: Your child will learn how to make their very own Egg Shakers.
Materials:
- Two Plastic Eggs
- Four Pennies
- Super glue
- The song, Shake your Sillies Out
Directions:
1. Put two pennies in each egg.
2. Super glue the eggs shut.
3. Let them dry for a few minutes.
4. Play the song, Shake my Sillies Out, you can find it on YouTube.
5. Repeat song, teach your child how to move the shakers to the song creating “rhythm.”
6. Enjoy your new Easter Shakers! Have a Happy Easter Everyone!!
Learning Opportunity:
1. Your child will learn how to make homemade shakers.
2. Your child will learn how to move to the music while shaking the eggs.
3. Your child will learn Rhythm using a musical instrument.
Read Aloud:
Easter Eggs (Sung to the tune of "Jingle Bells")
could be used for flannel board too

Here' are lots of colored eggs
All for me and you.
Chocolate eggs
