Snowflakes: A Cold Winter Day {By Briana}

The snow is falling everywhere
It is so pretty I love to watch and stare
On a cold winter day

There are so many snowflakes all around
One by one they hit the ground
On a cold winter day

If you are lucky you may find a snowflake on your nose,
And even on your toes
On a cold winter day

Snowflakes falling all around
Snowflakes falling on the ground
It is certainly a COLD WINTER DAY!

Congratulations: You and your child finished the lesson for the day! What did you think about the lesson today, and what did your child learn?  We’d love to hear your thoughts!

*Stallone Tested and Approved: {We are so lucky to have Stallone, Annie’s son, test out all of our lessons that we create for you.  We want the lessons to be enjoyable for children, so after each lesson we will post how Stallone did with the lesson in italics under the title, Stallone Tested and Approved}:

We talked about where snowflakes come from, and how they fall from the sky on cold days and nights.  He loved throwing his finished snowflake in the sky, and watching it fall to the ground.  He enjoyed learning how to use scissors, though we need more practice with them. Lol  He loved to eat the tortilla scraps when designing our "snowflake quesadilla," was saying "snowflake ohhhhhh" after our quesadilla was all ready to eat.  It was yummy!!!
