Read Aloud:
You’re a Grand Old Flag {By George M. Cohan}

You're a grand old flag,
You're a high flying flag
And forever in peace may you wave.
You're the emblem of
The land I love.
The home of the free and the brave.

Ev'ry heart beats true
'neath the Red, White and Blue,
Where there's never a boast or brag.
Should auld acquaintance be forgot,
Keep your eye on the grand old flag.
You're a grand old flag,
You're a high flying flag
And forever in peace may you wave.
You're the emblem of
The land I love.
The home of the free and the brave.

Ev'ry heart beats true
'neath the Red, White and Blue,
Where there's never a boast or brag.
Should auld acquaintance be forgot,
Keep your eye on the grand old flag.

*Stallone Tested and Approved:  Stallone loved finger painting today.  He had a great time making his American flag.  He loved saying the color “Blue” and watching his white paper turn into something beautiful.  It is such a joy watching Stallone gain confidence while using his creativity to complete art lessons.   Today’s lesson is perfect to get you and your child into the 4th of July spirit!
